Jr High Softball Players need to report to the field at 3:30, Varsity needs to report by 4:30

Reminder: There will be no school tomorrow, 9/13 due to Teacher In-Service. There WILL be Vo-Tech, bus will leave at 7:45.

HS Softball will not travel to King City tomorrow. Our participation in the tournament has been cancelled.

Hardin-Central Parents/Guardians: On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, Hardin-Central C-2 School District was notified of an individual at H-C High School who tested positive for COVID-19. With guidance from the Ray County Health Department, H-C has notified those who were considered “close contacts” with the individual. Unless you were contacted by district personnel or the Ray County Health Department, your child has not been identified as a close contact. Staff and student health is a priority as well as their right to privacy and the district will not disclose any other information about the individual(s). As always, we continue to keep the safety and health of our students and staff, as well as our community, when making educational decisions. Basketball Cheer Camp is this week starting at 7:00 am. Camp is for cheerleaders in 7th-12th grade.

Reminder there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, Sept. 6th because of Labor Day.

JH FOOTBALL GAME UPDATE: Due to an officials shortage, the JH Football game scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 7th has been moved to Wednesday, Sept. 8th. Game time will be 6:00 and the bus will leave H-C at 3:45. There will be NO PRACTICE Monday, Sept. 6th.

Vo-Tech students: Open house at Lex-La-Ray has been cancelled. First day of school for Vo-Tech is Aug. 23rd. Bus leaves at 7:45.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT is next Monday, Aug. 23rd beginning at 6:30 pm with a PreK-12 Back-to-School night event in the gym. We would like all parents/guardians to attend this event/meeting. Immediately following the PreK-12 meeting, there will be a separate JH/HS parent meeting with Mr. Dow to discuss chrome books, handbooks policy changes, procedural updates, etc. We look forward to seeing everyone on Aug. 23rd!

K-12 Enrollment for ALL students will be this Thursday, Aug. 12th from 8:00-2:00. We need all information sheets filled out for the new school year. As we transition to our new communication platforms, it’s very important to have all information updated especially cell phone numbers and email addresses.
